Salman Khan to help 25,000 daily wage workers of film industry amid coronavirus lockdown
In the times when the country is fighting the novel coronavirus, the Indian film industry's daily wage workers are left suffering. Robinhood Salman Khan has now lend a helping hand.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has pledged to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry in the wake of the national lockdown. The country is witnessing a 21-day lockdown, as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to contain the spread of the virus. The daily wage workers across different avenues are badly hit by the lockdown. Talking to India TV, Salman's manager Jordy Patel says "We are in talks with the federation head Mr. Dubey and gathering information. Once we have all data then we will decide."
